For cliniciansRefer a patient
A referral carries your patient and your professional trust - both are treated accordingly. This page is for physicians, orthopaedic colleagues and physiotherapists sending cases that need reconstruction-level care.
"The difficult cases belong somewhere." — the case you don't have the setup or the team for has an address.
What to send this way
The cases this practice is built for: revision arthroplasty (painful, loose, infected or dislocating replacements), complex primary replacement (dysplastic, ankylosed, post-traumatic and post-infective joints), pelvi-acetabular fractures - where the fixation window makes early referral decisive, arthroscopy and sports injuries of the knee and shoulder, and joint preservation candidates: the young patient you would rather not commit to an implant yet.
How to refer
One WhatsApp message does it: patient name and age, your working diagnosis, relevant imaging (photos of films are fine), and your contact. Urgent trauma - particularly acetabular fractures - is triaged the same day; routine referrals receive a response within 24 hours with an OPD slot or a preliminary opinion.
Our commitments to the referring clinician
Three, kept without exception: you hear back - an opinion or operative summary returns to you after every consultation and surgery; your patient returns - post-operative rehabilitation and long-term follow-up are co-managed with you wherever geography makes that sensible; and the referral relationship is respected - a patient referred for a procedure is returned to your care, subject always to the patient's own choice of physician.
For physiotherapists
Rehabilitation partners are part of the surgical team here. Referred patients return to you with a written phase-wise protocol, and direct WhatsApp access for protocol queries mid-rehabilitation is standing policy.
